David Shannon Florist, Inc. has been a family operated business for over 30 years by Joseph Perrotta and family. We are proud of the reputation we have established over the years in our industry. We take pride in all our floral designs specializing in weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and funerals. Our fruit baskets are also great for all occasions.

We have different varieties of house plants year round in our greenhouse. Our florist and nursery change by the seasons.

In the early spring pansies, primrose, tulip, hyacinths and daffodil plants can be planted or placed in your home. Then watch our greenhouses and yard fill with colorful annuals, vegetables, perennials, ground covers, shrubs, rosebushes, trees, etc.

We have soil, peat moss and cow manure to get your soil ready for spring planting. Also for decorative purposes we carry marble chips, pine bark and mulch.

In the summer we have beautiful perennials in flower and large pots of annuals to fill in those empty places in your yard or pots.

The fall time we have a large variety of mums, Montauk daisies, cabbages and kale. Don't forget at this time to pick up some spring time bulbs like tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc…to be planted in late November before the frost.

In October, come visit our pumpkin patch with the great scarecrow. Bring the children and your cameras. It's a great time to pick up some hay and corn stalks to decorate for Halloween.

November and December, our store changes to a holiday wonderland with different types of centerpiece arrangements for the holidays, beautiful poinsettias, Christmas cactus, cyclamens, and live trees. We have fresh cut Christmas trees, wreaths decorated or undecorated, garland, grave blankets, sprays and pillows.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

A local delivery fee of $8.00 - $12.00 (depending on zip code) will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 10:00 a.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

Verrazano Narrows Bridge, to Fort Hamilton Parkway exit, at the light bear right onto Fort Hamilton Parkway, proceed straight until you see the cemetery on your left at 36th Street, go 2 ½ blocks and we are on your right. We do have a parking lot next to the store.

Verrazano Narrows Bridge, to 65 street exit, at the light make a right onto 65th Street, go to Fort Hamilton Parkway and make a left, you will see the cemetery on your left at 36th Street, we are 2 ½ blocks on your right.

From BQE (278) NON COMMERCIAL
BQE to the Prospect Expressway, Exit 5 Fort Hamilton Parkway, at the light make a right onto Fort Hamilton Parkway, when you see the cemetery on your right proceed 2 ½ blocks and we are on your left. We do have a parking lot located next to the store.

BQE to Prospect Expressway get off the 10th & 11th Avenue Exit, at the stop sign make a right, at the light merge left onto McDonald Avenue going down the hill with the cemetery on your right, follow the cemetery around, make your first right which is Fort Hamilton Parkway, go 2 ½ blocks and we are on your left.

From Belt Parkway NON COMMERCIAL TRAFFIC
Get off Exit 7N which is Ocean Parkway North, at the light make a right onto Ocean Parkway, take Ocean Parkway to (Ditmas Avenue, Cortelyou Road, or Avenue C) and make a left onto any of those 3 streets, go to McDonald Avenue and make a right onto McDonald Avenue, take that to Fort Hamilton Parkway and make a left, go 2 ½ blocks and we are on your left. We do have a parking lot located next to the store.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
